Let it Snow Basket

Sarah over at Nohooksgiven is ready for snow, and so are we with her Let it Snow Basket! The sides of this perfect winter basket are hooked using the waistcoat stitch to add some stiffness, so your basket is sure to keep its shape! Sarah provides excellent written instructions along with a clear snowflake graph. This would be a perfect basket to store all your crochet hats, scarves, and mittens!


  • Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick and Quick or a Super Bulky weight 6 yarn
    • For the medium size
      • Main Color: 210 yards
      • Contrasting Color: 78 yards
    • For the large size (This is available only on Sarah’s Ravelry page)
      • Main Color: 310 yards
      • Contrasting Color: 104 yards
  • Size 6.5 mm hook or hook needed to obtain gauge
  • Scissors
  • Yarn needle
  • Measuring Tape

Sarah also offers the ability to be a pattern tester.  You’ll need to answer a few quick questions to see if you are a good candidate, but we think this is a great opportunity to try out patterns before anyone else- so go check it out!!
